Of Houses and Homes

How many of you have heard the song “A House Is Not a Home” 1964 written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David? Many of you who have, for sure are more familiar with the version sung by Luther Vandross in 1981. No matter which one you listen to, I want to call attention to the notion that the structure we know of as a “house” is purely a physical one, devoid of “soul”; while a home has within the same type of structure, the spirit of warmth, kindness, nourishment, love and family.

Yeah, it’s been a long time since I wrote my last blog here. So much has gone on since then and without going into all the details, life is quite interesting. Those of you who have been following may be wondering what I did about the dilemma I was in the last time I wrote. Long story short, we are putting our talents together in a business venture. “Talents, you say? Yeah, but maybe more so our passions.

To further understand (. . . read the former post . . .), we are combining her knowledge and excitement about numerology as a means for revealing a persons “inner road map” or “numerical influencings” while I mix that perspective with biofeedback-ed aura images that reveal the energy frequency of the color spectrum most representative of the person’s core “vibration” . . . People will gain tremendous insight into their “be”-ing after a consultation with us. Quite fascinating indeed! This venture is a way for me to be involved with her, in at least this aspect of her life (though I really feel I want more . . . much more . . .), where I can focus on building a good relationship with her based as business partners. If it is a successful effort, who knows what the future holds?

But, it is A GOOD HAPPENING! I’m really excited and looking forward to experience how this situation unfolds . . . Hopefully in such a delicious manner that I imagine only a very small segment of how wonderful this could actually turn out to be. If it does turn out that “the match”, is indeed from Heaven to the Earth . . . Or at least we respond to it as if it is . . . This has the feel of a fun journey beginning.

For those of you new to this blog, I am within a 25 year experience of marriage to a valorous woman who is truly a blessing . . . through her unconditional love and determination to provide for her loved ones . . . Yet, for whatever energetic reasons, has a way of colliding unpleasantly with me and mine. I have wondered all too often if we are suited for each other. In fact, ask me and I’ll clearly say no . . . no more wondering here. Yet, is this something that I can decide for myself and be right . . . correct . . . by way of my own reasoning and intent? Or is there Divine Intervention that affirms, “Forget what you think, she’s the ultimate one for you, I know better.”

I don’t know and for sure don’t understand. I have no idea what the truth is.

What “sweetens the deal” is that we have recently built a new “dwelling unit”. A new place to live that we call “ours” . . . no longer renters  . . . “owners”.

My question now is this, what if the soul presently “registered” as “my wife”, is not ideally meant for me? What if I made a choice to marry her without considering an alignment with who I am to become in the eyes of “Source”, The G-D Energy, that which creates Worlds within The Universe . . . and my decision didn’t favor into account the longevity within which “contracts” such as the one we made in marriage persists?

What if at this stage in my becoming my greatest version of me, she can now only rank as a friend? She doesn’t excite me nor does she bring out the best expression of my self . . . and that a different “help-meet” is exactly what “the doctor” prescribes for my best interest? That’d be a blip! . . . Kind of . . .

So now the question is, will it be possible to transform the building . . . our new dwelling unit . . . the house . . . to a home with a vibrant, “soul-filled-unit”? A purposeful representation of the union of two splendidly matched components into a singular unit that radiates warmth and love to all who draw near . . . instead of a structure which in actuality is a portrayal of disunity and division, plurality that fails to communicate decisiveness and perfumes the air with dissension?

Now I’m not saying it’s really like all that exactly . . . Maybe exaggerated a teeny bit . . . As an idea . . . But, if it is impossible to achieve the preferable vibrant “state of living” in the spirit of a home, could it still be worth spending a portion of my lifetime in this “style” that is less perfect?

I am certainly worth more than that, but what if this is a part of my training . . . my preparation for the next stage of my oncoming “reality”?

Disconnected from a sense of belonging, from either side to either side, life feels obscure . . . unsatisfying  in its attempt at fulfillment. A very important “thing” is missing . . . Can one find true peace and satisfaction while in this experience? Can the house erected be built into a home? Is it necessary?

Wow! I better close this “can of worms”. If this stuff gets out into the wrong eyes, I’m “up a creek” . . . without a paddle . . . and it won’t be pretty at the rocks!

I believe that there is no such thing as an accident. Everything has a reason and a purpose. They may be things that we have brought and will bring upon ourselves by way of our behavior. The actions we’ve taken after a series of thoughts lead us along the path to whatever results.

We don’t always train our “dog”ma to avoid the tragic mishap of being hit by the “kar”ma. Being extensions of “Source Energy” gives us the power to “re-create”. We make decisions based on what and how we think. The Law of Attraction holds that we draw upon ourselves that which we are like . . . that which matches the vibration at which we are vibrating . . . being in alignment with the spiritual “broadcast” whose frequency is the same as ours . . . that with which we project to our world.

So, in the process of becoming a better and better version of oneself, there is a need to experience contrasting feelings in order to decipher which are liked and which are not. It is this “pool of wonder” that provides the substances from which we learn to build our vibrational allies. The energies which accompany us and assist us in the direction we choose to go.

Taking into consideration that our physical bodies are in fact a “dwelling place” for a portion of our “spiritual bodies” (the majority of which is comprised of the connection extending from “The Source”) what are we providing to our “selves” in the way of a house or a home?

I have come to understand that what we know of as death is really just a separation from our physical bodies – which at first frightens us because we fear giving up the experiences this world has to offer . . . They have become more real than life itself! Yet, the pure bliss of what it is like to be reconnected to the timeless, unhindered, frictionless World of “Source”, completely overrides the so called “loss” of physical experience.

Of course, this physical experience is what causes expansion of consciousness. It is here that newness “re-creates”. Ideas are born and mankind fashions advancements and fascinating achievements. Without this experience new worlds cannot be born and the universe serves no purpose. For its creation was solely for the purpose of covertly assisting us to become what we eventually become.

So now the question is, how are we serving our selves by our thoughts? What kind of “dwelling unit” have we constructed through the perpetuation of how and what we think? Is your consciousness in a house or is it living in a home? Are the thoughts that dominate every moment those which bespeak happiness, joy  and appreciation for all that you have and satisfaction in knowing that everything is always working out for the better in your life – or – do thoughts that don’t serve you well the reigning champions?

You need to know, and this is very important, that we can control how we feel if we care how we want to feel. This is an awesome power! Get to know it. If it is important for us to feel a particular way, we make sure we feel it. If it is important for me to feel good, I do my best to direct my thought to those which cause me to feel good. I “allow” myself to feel good. It doesn’t pay to allow oneself to stay in a state of depression and sadness, dismay and frustration with “the way” things “are”. The way things are are because they are “thought” to “be” that way. That’s what is thought! What “good” results from thinking like that? Who would want to live in that “house”?

So my friends, it turns out that we decide what experience we want . . . which we will allow ourselves to relish in. We are the creators of our “realities”, in each and every now that we enter. What happens is up to us and our focus on where we want to take ourselves . . . the path we choose to follow. No one else decides that for us. It’s all in our heads!

Lao Tzu said (in Chinese of course . . .), “Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Watch your words, for they become actions. Watch your actions, for they become habits. Watch your habits, for they become character. Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny!”?

With a working hearth in it, any house becomes a warm home.

All New Beginnings Are Difficult …

. . . But that then makes them all the more satisfying when their end is sweet!

Sure, it is a known fact that what stops far too many people from achieving their desired attainments is being afraid to start! To make the first real move in the direction they want to go that they themselves have chosen. Stopped on the tracks right from the start. Now what do you do?

Fear of beginning anew is instinctual. Starting fresh in an unknown realm. Unsure of the depth to which you’ll be challenged in the new environment. All you know is that you’ve got to zero in on something new. To focus on making the best of the new situation. Whether it be from one or many aspects simultaneously, change is rough and tough. Especially when you are impaired and unprepared.

By being im-“paired”, not “pairing” or adapting yourself to likewise represent the “nature” of that to which you are “changing”, you have a harder time “fitting” in. You don’t relate to it. By “pairing” yourself beforehand to the “condition” to which you are destined to become a subject accelerates acclimatization. It fortunately began beforehand! One was “prepared” (pre-paired as it were . . . Even pre-“pared” as in apples or potatoes before they are used for cooking).

This has meaning for all things we concern ourselves with. How well prepared are we to take our be-ing to the next level . . . even artfully. That is if you want to. I imagine that if you’re reading this material, you too are looking to foster good changes in your be-ing. No? Am I wrong? So let’s assume the position. Position ourselves to be mutually appropriate to achieve maximum results for the whole picture.

What is the first thing you want to change to start ________? How would you begin? What do you already have that would justify you beginning right now to have your ________?

As for me, I make it no secret that I would prefer to be a business owner rather than an employee for someone else. That’s the only way I can insure that I come to enjoy the work aspect of my life. No boss is going to put his heart into my satisfaction on the job. Even if (s)he did, will I be able to survive on the companies “benefits” should I be fired or retired? Some of my earlier postings provided sources for good books to read on this subject. I suggest you see the post “on Mentors and Coaches”. These can kick start you quicker than you would by your lone ranging self. It is through some of their influence that I began this blog to share my stories. This is part of my new beginning, one of many throughout my history, though this one being publicized. It is part of what I already have in my possession that justified my expedient start. That plus my desire to nurture a change in my behavior. By sharing my story I get to find out if anyone else resonates at my vibration . . . Theoretically at least. This must have readers for a start! But you can say I’ve been “pre-paring” the way, removing the coarse barrier to the wants within to make for easier digestion.

Be that as it may, to really entice big potential financial change from the “git-go”, one of the better private license rights recommendations I have for getting a running start in an online enterprise is . . . in some of my posts. I bet you already know. It’s a very fine start.

Is Love or Infatuation Fueling Your Actions?

We constantly hear people saying how much they love this and that or how’d they love to . . . But what is love really? A funny thing sometimes and supposed to be fun. But how do we qualify the experience and differentiate it from an illusion . . . from infatuation?

Because while infatuation presents the feelings of love, it is unbridled and uncontrollable. Very intense and usually short-lived since it is not based on reason and is rather blind to the real truths of the matter. Honest, mature love can actually result from infatuation given the right circumstances, such as by incorporating reason and reaching mature perspectives. But most “young minds” simply function on autopilot and don’t give deep thought to how their “vehicle” is being driven. The important aspect is that it drives them . . . sometimes to madness.

This immaturity has relevance to all facets of our emotional being. We tend to get caught up in the natural “slings and swings” of life without thinking before we act. It’s natural, what else can we expect. But let’s take our lives to their limits. Why not be supernatural? Going beyond the boundary of pure instinctual behavior and raising the notch of the ladder to what we can accomplish. Why live a mediocre lifestyle in “primitive” servitude to unbridled energy motions? What if there is a way to rise above the mundane and live more sane? To make sense out of nonsense by adding controls to actions and reactions.

This is the function of taking stock of who you are and how you want to be alive. When it comes to something or someone we want, we have to dig deep rationally and analyse from many different perspectives how the object of our attention actually fits into the equation we formulated for ourselves. Why are we so passionate about it and would life really be better if it was also part and parcel of the baggage we must carry? After all, during the journey to our destinations, we must have the right provisions for the way.

It’s hard for me to say that I love what I do but I do love who I am. That’s why it is so important for me to select what I take into my life with an eye on how my innards move me. Is it true romantic love I experience or infatuation with a fantasy. I take time to think on it, hopefully with intelligence. As I have mentioned before, one of my “secret weapons” is the use of therapeutic essential oils. What these do for me is instill a conscious focus throughout the day, for a few hours at least, on the purpose intended by their use. I smell the fragrance and am reminded of what I desire of it to do to me. On a subconscious level, I imagine being aligned with my desired outcome and however “the universe” manifests its greatness, I hope to be open.

I have been working with many mixtures, but those that I think elicited major breakthroughs in my “be”-ing are called “Awaken” and “Into the Future“. Of course, it may not have been the use of the oils that is doing the trick. But they sure don’t hurt! It could simply be my firm resolve to evoke a change in my being for the better. But I am learning to “love” including them in my daily regimens. Not just the aforementioned oils but a number of others as well just for the fun of it. For those of you who are interested in checking this out for yourselves, consider downloading the free app, Aromatherapeutic Essentials. It will be a tremendous help to those wanting to know more about the world of essential plant oil usage.

In another light, it can be found that people get excited about a new opportunity and feel gung ho and all about it in the beginning, only to let the feeling whimper out and fade away, especially when another opportunity comes along. That’s infatuation at work. What those folk really need is to apply good reasoning and come to the conclusion why to or why not to be involved with their new “fling” or sought after “life partner”. Being faithful and persevering with the “partner” that you find to love and is loving you back has great rewards. Doing so could save a lot of angst, wasted time and money. After all, a viable and enduring partner in the pursuit of life’s pleasures eliminates boredom and provides support and encouragement during times of need. Straying from that only brings sorrows in its wake.

Wisely know what you want and why, then stick to your method in getting it and then maintain having it. This is the way to true honest fulfillment in life with the quality of endurance. Love everlasting, we hope!

Behavior Is Affected By Environment

Have you noticed how being in certain environments can evoke a wide range of different feelings – joy, freedom, relaxation or the opposites? Not only that but the people that share the environment with you impact it as well by providing it with a multiple “person-ality”. The sum of all the factors that make up the environment provides it with an “air” that against the backdrop of your natural psychological response to it determines how you will develop. You become your surroundings and it translates you! Your be-ing adapts itself in its unique way to the conditions as a testimony to fitness in the environment. Ideally . . . or not, you begin to fit in and take on what it means to live in that “neighborhood”. In light of these facts, choose wisely my friends. Choose your environments wisely. “Cop a gander”, take a look, at this documentary clip analyzing environment and human behavior. It captures the conflict between what appear to us as extraordinary versus that we see as ordinary. Worth the watch but I must advise that some parts may not be suitable for children. Keep that in mind when viewing.

We are in an age of boundless information. Along with our physical and social environments, our mental environment as well is bombarded all day every day with stimulation in many forms. The minds of man have generated umpteen technological treats that somehow now it seems difficult to be without them. “How did people live without this before?” Who lives without a smartphone in a pocket these days? What a great toy! A fill in the blanks of the day type thing. Unfortunately ruining the art of one on one full frontal facial conversation though. Too many people are so deep into their phone screens that they have just rare fleeting moments of real eye to eye contact. Long conversations at the family table or the living room have been replaced by family members individually going off into their own world within What’s app or a game.

For the purpose of future fulfillment, assuming the present isn’t living up to the ideal, it is important to associate with the types of people that support your desired reality. Choose your friends wisely . . . Pick winners. To be like those your admire and want to emulate requires that you associate and communicate as much as possible with this type of “being”. In order to be what and how you want to be, the more people like this that you draw into your circle of friendship, as those you associate with, the quicker you begin to behave and live the way you wished. You’ve got community support and the promise of auto-designed behavior. The environment will work more in your favor. You’ve upped the ante!

Want to make a connection with a community of legends? People who strove to create lives with better income in less time with more of both for leisure and are now no longer striving but living the “dream”? Start your online business education and link up with winners who are proving that the better lifestyle part of the dream can in time become your reality too.
